In the News: On September 8th, 2010 we unveiled the six foot bronze sculpture of Joseph playing baseball at South Shore Little League in Staten Island. With about 175 people in attendance, artist Gregory Perillo spoke of Joseph's love of baseball and why he was inspired to do this sculpture. South Shore Councilman Vinny Ignizio spoke in support of the foundation and expressed the positive impact our mission will have in our community and beyond. Father Dillon of St. Joseph St. Thomas Church was also in attendance to bless the sculpture and say a prayer. You can see photos of the event on the photo gallery page. |
